Mark 10:15&16—Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Dear Camper/Staff,

It is with a heavy heart that we write you this letter. As you know our nation has been under a shutdown because of the Corona Virus. You young ones have been out of school, many of us older ones have been out of work and our churches have been closed.

When this all started back in February it was our hope and prayer that by the time Mountain Top Bible Camp rolled around, we would be all back to normal. Even when it appeared it would not be “normal” we still held out hope that with necessary protections and precautions we could still have Camp. After all, we feel Bible Camp is an essential part of our life each and every summer. 🙂

So, with that in mind we held off making a decision until we were forced to make one.

Well, yesterday May the 7th we got a call from the Pa Dept of Parks telling us that the campground where we hold the camp would NOT be open for us this year. So, because of these circumstances beyond our control we have to cancel MTBC this year. We want to say we are sincerely sorry.

But remember, God is still in control and He loves each and every one of us with an everlasting love. We believe He loves children with a special love only He can give. Jesus said that except we all become as little children and humble ourselves we cannot see the Kingdom of God.

So put your chin up, look for ways to show God’s love to others (Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters) through this difficult time and pray for God to Heal our Land and to bring Good out of this time.

We love each one of you and we are going to look at each application we got in already and put a smiley face on it as we prepare for Camp in 2021.
